And, Voila!

Now I just need to convince her to wear it. She doesn't like it. If only Marc used to own something pink with flowers.

The best idea ever

I'm thinking about attempting this. I'm in awe that someone would even come up with something so clever.

Zucchini Bread and a Birfday

First of all, 29 wonderful years ago Mr. Marc Ephrem Bybee was born. Happy Birfday!
My neighbors brought over some zucchini for us straight out of their garden. So, we made zucchini bread.
Me: Hey Molly, did you like that zucchini bread?
Molly: (imagine her pointer finger in the air, acting like a professor) Yes, but I have one question to say. Does this mean that I get to sleep in your bed?
Me: Huh?

Jensen Family Reunion

A few years ago my parents decided that we were all old enough that we needed to have a family reunion every year. Just us- my parents, the kids, and grandkids. It's been really fun. This year did not disappoint. We stayed in a cabin in Duck Creek, UT. We played in the river, shot guns, rode bikes, caught frogs, played a little Rock Band, climbed into an ice cave, surfed the Web, Sheldon talked Marc into and out of about three guns, paid 8 bucks to walk 50 feet and look at Cedar Breaks (we could have seen the same thing from the road for absolutely free), and ate some good food. It was so fun. We had a great time with everyone!

Requests from a three year old

Mom, can I have some Lucky Charms? But I don't want cereal or milk.
Mom, can you change my green dress into a swimming suit with your magic wand?
Mom, can we take the lid off our car? (we don't have a convertible)

Mom, can I have a toy from the store? I won't bite Ruby's feet anymore.

Rubix Cube Stats

Our little Rubix Cube is 15 months old. A recent visit to the Dr told us she weighs 23 lbs 2 oz (55%), and is 30.25 inches tall (44%). Practically perfect in every way. As a 15 month old she has 6 enormous teeth with a few more really close, loves her pink blankie almost as much as she loves her sister, likes to inspect things really close by laying on her tummy (sometimes this is in the middle of the road at the cemetery), helps out around the house, likes to play at the park (or be tortured by Dad at the park),

and still hates riding in the car (we're very excited for our upcoming road trip to California).

Love you, baby!

Happy Graduation!

This week Molly "graduated" from her pre-school class. Her teacher had a really great little program all worked out. The kids sang songs showing what they learned this year and told everyone what they wanted to be when they grow up. When Molly grows up she "wants to be a big kid." It was so fun, and we are so proud of her.
Molly and her BFF, Makayla.
Molly wanted Ice Cream as her graduation present. Boy did she get ice cream. She was in heaven. It took her almost half an hour to eat this baby.
