Aloooooha!

Hawaii. Awesome. Marc's parents so graciously took all their children and their spouses on a Hawaiian Cruise to celebrate Marc's dad's retirement. Here are some highlights (this might be boring for those who were not in attendance):

Our "beach view" from our hotel on Waikiki Beach
Traveling to Hawaii to eat at Burger King and KFC
Sleeping! (Uninterupted by little children for 10 nights in a row)
Rolf the taxi driver. I think Rod might have found a life long friend.
Brandon and Kristi lying about their anniversary and being allowed to go to the front of the longest line in the world.
The Adam dance
Anita doing the Adam dance
Kristi yelling at the top of her lungs through a quiet lounge full of people that she wanted to see the Adam dance. (demonstrating the Adam dance as she yelled)
DJ likes to eat mussells
The waiter from the Lazy J Steakhouse BAM!
The freaking Road to Hana
The Pump (not so much a highlight as my ever-present sucky companion)
Rascal the shuttle driver
Mr Angel Wings/Cruise Director
Hukilau Beach and Anita's swim suit.
Special Anita in the ocean on Kauai
Marc's birthday
Julie being pummeled by a wave on Kauai
The "couple" on our excursion on Kauai
Giovanni's Shrimp truck
Matsumoto's Shave Ice (twice)
The power going out right in the middle of watching The Dark Knight
Getting to finish watching The Dark Knight in Honolulu before our flight left
Pumping in a movie theater, three public restrooms, and a van full of my in-laws.
All the rope swings
Black sand beaches
Pineapple. yummmm
Pineapple ice cream at the Dole Plantation. yummm
Brandon's stinky feet in the movie
Reading. . .no wait, falling asleep every time I opened my book.
A $2.00 can of coke
The Cadillac Diner (that one's for Marc)
Falling asleep on the ship and having just my shins sunburnt to a crisp
Kayaking with the Menehunes
The North Shore
and many, many, many more ridiculously fun things.

Thanks Rod and Peggy! We had a wonderful time.

Everyone's doing it

Okay, so I'm a jump on the bandwagon kind of person. But, hey, it's fun.

1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Which Disney Princess are you?

You Are Mulan!

Strong and spirited. You're no one's girly girl; actually you are very determined person with a strong sense of self. Never let go of that! The only thing that equals your sense of self is your family, but the traditions of society can always be bent to protect something or someone you love.

Happy 4th!

We had a busy 4th of July. First we had breakfast at the Bybee's, then on to the Kaysville Parade with my family. Molly and I stuck around for the water part of the parade, but that ended just about as soon as it begun with two little boys getting hurt. (I read on KSL.com that they're ok.) Then Grandma Jensen made an awesome BBQ Rib dinner even though she was sick. Crazy Grandma. Marc had to valet that night for a wedding (on the 4th of July?) so the girls and I stuck around to watch the Kaysville fireworks from my parent's lawn. We decided to end the night with a visit to WeeCare to try and figure out why Molly had a fever and white spots in her mouth. Apparently it was just some sore throat bug. We got home at about 1:00 am right when Marc walked through the door. Aside from the visit to the Dr., it was a really fun day.

The girlas in their 4th of July dresses. Although, I think Ruby's would probably be more appropriate on Cinco de Mayo or something. She's just preparing for a career of being a waitress at El Matador.

Molly spent most of the parade on Grandma's lap. . .

. . . or doing this.

I love how my camera focused on Molly peeking right through Hunter and Preston running.

Hunter and Molly's wicked slip n slide moves. I got some rad moves. Some super super bad, super rad moves. That's right, I got some rad, rad, rad, rad moves. Hey.

Badminton anyone?

And this is where Roob spent most of the day.

One big slide

DJ and Julie have an enormous slide. They invited us over for a water day a little while ago. While a little leery about it at first, Molly soon warmed up to the slide idea. Thanks Julie!
