Ragnar Relay

In one month from today Marc will be running in the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay. This race goes from Logan to Park City. You are in a team of 12 people and you each run 3 legs of the race. If you want more information about the Wasatch Back, visit http://www.ragnarrelay.com/wasatchback/index.php
Marc has been working very hard to be ready for his part of the race. He gets to run an easy 3.3 miles through the Ogden Valley, 6.2 miles near Echo Reservoir, and a very hard 3.6 mile uphill climb leading up to the Ragnar (the ridiculously hard leg that the race was named for) through Wasatch Mountain State Park (close to the city of Midway). We're all very proud of you! We're also proud of Brandon, Kristi, and Adam. They're also running with Marc. (And Anita for driving the van :) ) Good luck everyone!

Patho Chuck Saturday

I'm studying Sodium and Potassium in Pathophysiology today.
Chuck Norris destroyed the periodic table because he only recognizes the element of surprise.

New Shirts!

New shirts that Grandma and Grandpa Jensen brought back from their trip. (I realize Molly looks bald, she's just laying on her ponytail.)

Chuck Norris Stimulus Saturday

It's saturday again. With all of the stimulus payments being sent out, here is a tax related Chuck Norris fact:
When Chuck Norris sends in his taxes, he sends blank forms and includes only a picture of himself, crouched and ready to attack. Chuck Norris has not had to pay taxes, ever.

A Day on the Farm

Today my cousin Michelle and I took our kids to see their Great-Grandma Hansen. Grandma Hansen lives on a dairy farm in Smithfield. Jack and Molly had a great time running around in the mud/cow poo, climbing on the tractors, going for wagon rides, and looking at all the cows. Ruby had fun sleeping in Grandma's arms the whole time.

This is as close to the big cows as Molly would get. She didn't like how they started walking toward us when we stood by the fence.

But the baby cows. . . She liked them. Molly saw a calf suck on my finger, and this was her attempt to try and get this calf to suck on hers. But every time it got any closer to her, she would get scared and back away.

Molly stepped in a mud puddle and got her feet all wet and dirty. I think it ruined her day. Grandma took her into the cow milking room and sprayed her feet off. She didn't like that much either. Her face says it all.

Molly and Jack sitting on the Swather. That's right, I know what it's called.

Jack's favorite thing to do was ride the wagon.

Okay, this next picture is disgusting. If you look closely you will see that this poor cow is giving birth. It was just in the beginning stages of delivery. Grandma said the calf will probably be born by the end of the day. I kind of wish I could have stayed and watched. It was pretty cool. Michelle has witnessed a cow being born at Grandma's before. She said it traumatized her. Big baby. :)
