Introducing. . .

the newest addition to our family. Ruby Wednesday Bybee arrived Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 6:20 PM. She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 20 inches long. She's already a sweetheart, and we can't wait for all of you to get to know her. As suspected, Molly loves her to death and is a great "helper." Thank you to everyone for all the visits and gifts. And now, here's little Roo!

Fun in the Snow

This has been the snowiest winter in a long time. Molly loves playing on her slide. Although, the snow is so deep that she really only moves about a foot before she gets stuck in the snow at the bottom of the slide. She loves it anyway!

Her favorite thing to do in the snow? Eat it!

Messy Molly

Many of you know how Molly has a messy, creative streak in her. She loves making messes with just about anything she can find. You'll recall the desitin face. . .

And then there was the time she smuggled a pen into her room and drew on just about everything in sight. She colored her sheets, her walls, her stuffed animals, and almost all her books while she was supposed to be napping. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of that incident (I wasn't home when she was discovered).

This is what I found today when I checked in on her nap:

The culprit: A bottle of lotion she must have found somewhere in the depths of her closet. She emptied the bottle all over her room. She told me she was cleaning her toys.
And, an hour later after cleaning it all up, she's as proud as can be that she decided to help out Mom and "clean" her toys.

Merry Christmas!

This year for Christmas we spent the night at Natalie's parent's house. Molly had fun playing with her cousins Hunter, Preston, Cutler, and Grady. I think her favorite toy was Cutler's Tinker Toy set, but once she got home she realized that she actually got some cool toys. Here she is getting ready to ride her new bike. She hasn't quite figured out the pedaling thing, but she likes to get ready and sit on it.

Taking a break for a quick drink of water.

Cruising down the hall with Dad.

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Bybee Christmas Party

Marc's Cowboy and Indian Christmas sweater.
Natalie's lovely Christmas sweater. Scary face, I know.
Molly and the girls singing Jingle Bells.
NOT sitting on Santa's lap.

Every year we get together with Marc's family for a Christmas party. We play games, exchange cheesy holiday sweaters, eat tons of food, and get to visit with Santa. This year Santa brought Mrs. Claus, too! It was so much fun. Molly was fine watching Santa from afar, but when it was time for her to sit on his lap. . . well that was a different story. Here are some pictures from our party.

'Tis the Season

As Christmas gets closer Molly is getting more and more excited. She asks me if she can wear her red Christmas dress almost every day. Here are some pictues I got while she was investigating what she looks like in her new dress.
